I've been working through Psalm 119 for a couple of weeks now and feel like I've hit a wall. Not in a bad way but like the feeling you get when you have eaten too much and you can't get another bite in your mouth. I sense that I'm beginning to just go through it for the sake of going through it and moving on to the next post... which totally defeats the purpose. Also my mind keeps wandering back to what
I've been reading rather than what
I am reading. So I think it's time to slow down and digest what we've been through. I'm going to re-read 119: 1-40 for the rest of this week... there is some really solid stuff in 41-48 and I can't get my mind around it. So I'm going to do what 119:43b says, "I'm going to wait for God". I want to get closer to Him and not just zip through the verses and miss Him all together.
119:4 -Thou hast ordained Thy precepts, That we should keep them diligently...
(not just read over them and move on...)
